Browser Agent · Free Chrome extension

Your browser.
Your model.
Your rules.

An AI agent in Chrome's side panel that reads and works on any web page, using the AI model you choose. No Forge server, no tracking, and nothing happens without your OK.

Why we built it

Private by design

Your keys and chats stay in your browser. They never touch a Forge server, because there is no Forge server.

Any model, no lock-in

DeepSeek, Claude, GPT, Gemini and 300+ more, free ones included. Switch any time from the model menu.

You stay in control

Every click, keystroke and page change waits for your OK by default. Allow once, always allow on a site you trust, or bypass until you close the panel. Password and card fields are always refused.

Skills, run with a slash

Finish a task and it offers to save it as a skill, right in the chat. Or import a skill file. Type / to run any skill.

Get started in a minute

  1. Add Browser Agent to Chrome and click its icon to open the side panel.
  2. Connect a model: sign in with OpenRouter, or paste a Claude, OpenAI or Gemini key.
  3. Open any page and ask. "Summarise this", "What needs my attention here?", "Fill this form from my notes."

Questions

Does Forge see my data?

No. Browser Agent has no backend. Your messages and the page text it reads go only to the AI provider you choose. Keys and settings stay in your browser.

What does it cost?

The extension is free. You pay your AI provider for what you use, or nothing with OpenRouter's free models. The panel shows tokens and cost as your provider reports them.

Can it act on its own?

No. It plans, then asks before each click, each piece of typing and each page change. It will not type passwords, card numbers or one-time codes.

Can my company set it up for everyone?

Yes. Forge Consultancy sets up private AI operations for teams, including company keys and custom skills for your own tools. Write to us.
